Your stone shop, one town over
Pembroke is a family town, and its kitchens work hard. Most of our Pembroke projects are exactly that: busy households near Furnace Pond or off Route 139 replacing worn laminate with granite or quartz that shrugs off daily life.
We are about 25 minutes up Route 53 from Pembroke Center. Template to installation is handled by our own crew, and because fabrication happens in our Weymouth shop, mid-project adjustments do not mean weeks of waiting on a third party.
Granite and quartz for kitchens that actually get used
In Pembroke, the kitchen island is a landing zone: school bags, sports gear, homework, Saturday morning pancakes. The countertop material has to hold up to all of it without becoming a maintenance project in itself. Quartz is the dominant choice in busy Pembroke households for exactly that reason: it does not need sealing, does not stain from the juice spill that did not get wiped up immediately, and comes in enough styles to fit any cabinet color. Granite is the choice for homeowners who prefer natural stone and do not mind a seal once a year in exchange for a surface with more visual depth and variation.
Pond-side neighborhoods, Route 139 colonials and new subdivisions
The neighborhoods around Furnace Pond and Great Sandy Bottom Pond bring a mix of older colonials and newer homes where the kitchen is the center of the house. The Route 139 and Route 53 corridors have a similar feel: established family homes where the countertop renovation is often the biggest visible upgrade the kitchen gets short of a full remodel. We also see new subdivision builds in Pembroke where the developer's standard countertops are being upgraded by the first owner before move-in. All three situations get the same process: template, fabricate, install, done.

“Stone Design Pro has a great selection in every price range. Evan is outstanding and incredible knowledgeable. We were doing an entire house and went back several times before making decisions. Evan was always patient and helpful. He made great recommendations and always had options if something we selected didn’t work for whatever reason. I highly recommend Stone Design Pro.”

“Evan and his team were outstanding! They didn't balk at the small size of my kitchen, were incredibly accommodating, efficient, tidy, friendly, and always on time. Better yet, I have my dream kitchen!”

“My dealings with the team at Stone Design Pro was the best part of my bathroom remodel. The first time I stopped in there, with no appointment, Evan and the stone cutters were happy to show me as many full stone pieces and remnants as I wanted. It was like this each time I went there. In addition, Evan was able to guide me through the entire process of stone selection, sizing, planning and cutting.”
Pembroke questions
Quartz leads for busy family kitchens because it never needs sealing, with granite a close second for its value and durability. We show both side by side at the showroom.
Yes. Removal and disposal of existing tops is part of the installation, and we protect floors and cabinets while we work.
Send rough measurements through the form for a ballpark, then we template on site to lock the exact price. Quotes are free either way.
It depends on material selection and current scheduling. Because we fabricate in-house and are not waiting on an outside shop, we tend to move faster than average. Ask for a current timeline when you get your quote.
Both. We upgrade builder-standard countertops in new homes and replace worn surfaces in established neighborhoods. The process is the same either way: template, fabricate, install.
